my go-to place whenever i’m in hamburg ❤️. it’s a genuinely authentic indian eatery — simple, low-key, and full of character. the food is always fresh and delicious. i especially love their shahi paneer thali (10€), and their masala chai is excellent too! punjabi music is always playing in the background, and for 30 minutes it genuinely feels like you’ve been transported back to india 😁👍. the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and i absolutely love the vibe!

What an interesting place. Tiny, packed, warm, loud but super authentic and atmospheric. The price / value is great. You feel like in an Indian village. You get one plate with different tabs. Not too big menu and therefore everything fresh and tasty. 10€ for a main for dinner is rare nowadays. Food is spicy, but fine! Not fancy at all, but cosy and real.

It's near to Hbf. Food is good and given the price they are charging it's really good. One funny incident: we were four people came from Berlin and ordered 4 thalis and that guy said some ~35 euros something and we were like... We ordered 4 thalis and then he added all the prices and said it's 35. But in our Berliner mind it should be around ~50 something 🤪. But yeah nice experience.

I had one of the worst chicken biryanis I've ever eaten. It was nothing like an authentic biryani. It contained ingredients that simply don't belong in a biryani, such as raisins and cabbage. The onions were cut into large pieces and weren't even properly cooked. The overall taste was very disappointing, and the quality of the food was poor. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a good biryani. I've also attached photos so others can see what was served.
