A very traditional place with traditional food. Foods have traditional names and you eat with hands, only cutlery served is a knife. There could be some risk this is perceived as a bit of over-touristic experience, but actually this place works and it's because the food is really genuine and excellent. Good quality from bread to main course all over. Their own beer is pretty OK too, tried the helles version which felt very classic a bit shady too. Staff is nice too, usually one at least speak English. Can be popular among holiday season.

The traditional Middle age restaurants with food literally living upto the standards and quantity of the middle ages. A place that is soo inviting that you wouldn't mind spending more time there. The food and the quantity of the portion served is mind blowing. The staff is extremely friendly. Prices are well below the expensive range. I would recommend it to all who don't mind getting their fingers dirty with bitting off a juicy rib. The loose stars because even in 2025 they only accept cash and not cards
