Found via Google Maps while traveling on business from Leipzig to Düsseldorf. A super friendly welcome right at the counter with a warm "Welcome!" We were immediately shown to a table in the dining room and asked about drinks right away. After a minor hiccup regarding our starter (we were told they were out of asparagus cream soup...), this was quickly rectified, and we were served mushrooms and snails Alsatian style. This was followed by asparagus with schnitzel of absolutely top-notch quality! At the end of the main course, the owner came by to ask if everything had been satisfactory... old-

I ate at Haus Meßmann and was absolutely delighted. The food was truly delicious and of high quality. The prices are very fair and not too expensive for what you get. I especially appreciated the atmosphere – it wasn't too loud, so you could easily have a conversation. Overall, there was a perfect, cozy ambiance. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!
