Whenever we come to Weimar we *must* have a meal at La Tarte. It brings us back to those wonderful years we spent in France. It’s an authentic French bistro with authentic food. I always, always get the escargot and then the steak tartare and get nostalgic. Thanks once again for such pleasure. Oh yes, the wine list is extensive and reasonably priced.

The food was ok. My big complain is that the duo dessert he had was not good. And by this I mean it tasted like cigarette’s ashes(we were 4 at the table and we all thought the same). We gave it back and they brought us a creme brûlée which was good. I think that when you spend a good amount of money as we did and you bring a bad gone dessert you shouldn’t charge it. We had the horrible taste of that chocolate mousse the whole evening

It was very nice experience at the restaurant. The steak was perfectly cooked. The freshly handmade fries were delicious. I couldn’t take pictures as it was too good to wait for a photo. The dessert was absolutely perfect. Amazing service. Will definitely be coming back
