Very good steaks and ribs. I would recommend the Huftsteak over Rumpsteak, even though it’s cheaper - it’s more flavorful and there’s very little fat. It was also better cooked in my case, proper medium rare. The pork spare ribs were quite nice as well, although the first time I ordered, the meat really came off the bone, while another time it was more tough. In any case, a very decent steakhouse with reasonable prices, as opposed to other such restaurants, especially ones available on Lieferando.

I got the 400g of the sirloin and the baked potato and a coke. For a starter I got a salad with a vinegrette (it’s not pictured). The potato was not great. It was covered in way too much butter and sour cream. I would have gone with fries instead. The steak had a bit more flavorful but it, too, was not great. Medium rare meant basically raw in some areas. All in all my meal came to 65 euros. The staff was nice.

So disappointed that we aren't amongst the other great reviews of this steak house, I can only think that it must have been one of those bad days when we visited. We had a reservation but got seated nearly next to the toilet, we gladly got moved. Let me tell you my husband is Australian and a meat lover and so he's a Blockhouse regular and a steak lover. We were very much looking forward to eat here. We waited like 15 mins to order, it really puts a damper on our visit. Clearly the waiter was running around like madly He had no help. Really good restaurant, we ate the ribs and the huftsteak and they were really tasty, good portions, nicely cooked. Good ambiance and friendly staff. I definitely recommend it.
