Incredibly fresh seafood cooked to perfection! We were looking for an authentic spot here in Sai Kung, and we feel like we found the place that needs to be gate kept. We ordered mantis shrimp, razor clams, and tung sing fish - everything was so good and not priced at an upcharge. Skip the restaurants with an ocean view (this place is only a block away). You won’t find any tourists at Corner Cafe, HK locals only!

We have been coming to Corner Cafe a couple times every year for a few years. They are able to keep up the quality of dishes in spite of the pandemic. They are down to earth, so don’t expect fancy decor. The way they cook seafood is just to perfection and with great flavour. They don’t add MSG, which is rare in Asia. Anyone, who goes for authenticity of food, should try this place. I’m so impressed that they consistently serve out delicious dishes. They are totally underrated. I dived right into the dishes and forgot to take pictures of the salted chicken. Even the snack roasted peanut is worth fighting for! I ordered a la carte, not the set. They are happy to serve us unlike what other raters have stated. Also, they don’t have a tank/aquarium, there is no way that they can or will switch out the seafood some raters brought in. Anyways, I highly recommended it!!

We ordered set dinner $1280 for 6, actually it’s capable to serve 8 if u add some rice or noodle. I like their big clams with glass noodle, grouper, shrimps, chicken, veggie. Unlike the others on this street, this restaurant does not waste your food money for maintaining meaningless fancy fish tanks for a display purpose. Your money only goes to seafood, and their food quality is great. A set menu of HKD$588 for two (as of March 2023) gives you four (4) fish/seashell/squid/shrimp dishes of your choice, a complementary braised green vegetable and also two steamed white rice bowls. Chinese tea in a pot is included, but beers are not. You will be impressed how local people are occupying and enjoying this cosy place. Don't worry about table occupancy. It looks a misleading at the entrance, but this restaurant is acutally a two-story complex, and has a bunch of large tables for families on its upper floor and in its extention.
