Excellent North Indian food as expected from an old Delhi restaurant. We had dal makhani and pindi chhole which were really amazing. The missi roti too was fragrant and tasty. Do try the gulab jamun and kesar pista kulfi.

Had an excellent dining experience at Daryaganj Restaurant in Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden. From the moment we arrived, the ambience felt warm and inviting, making it a great place for a family dinner. We started with the Bhatti Chicken Tikka and Malai Broccoli, and both were outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked (soft like nowhere else), juicy, and packed with smoky flavors, while the broccoli was surprisingly delicious with a rich, creamy texture. The Tomato Shorba was comforting, flavorful, and a perfect start to the meal. For the main course, we ordered the OG Dal Makhani, OG Butter Chicken, and OG Butter Paneer along with Garlic Naan and Rotis. Every dish was prepared to perfection. The Dal Makhani was rich, creamy, and slow-cooked to perfection. The Butter Chicken was a good one too with a flavorful gravy, but here honestly the pieces were not cooked well according to us (maybe because it was boneless?). The Butter Paneer was not so great too. The Garlic Naan on the othe

We didn't do prior reservation so waited for 10 mins it was full on Sunday evening so yeah it took some time to prepare our order but completely worth the wait. We ordered original butterchiken as it was immensely praised by my sister. I must say it made me nostalgic. Not so creamy yet taste so amazing also not too sweet which generally one get on the name of butter chicken. Full 10 on 10. They have these huge gulab jamun. I am a sweet tooth but yeah one was enough for me. Highly recommend

Enjoyed flavourful drinks and delicious vegetarian food at Daryaganj restaurant in Pacific Mall. Special thanks to manager Shyam Taneja and Chef Joginder for creating bespoke dishes to suit my mother’s dietary needs. Very welcoming and courteous attitude of all staff members. The restaurant is a little bit noisy and may benefit from more sound absorbing surfaces. It seems to be a popular choice for many people. Overall very satisfied.

(Aug'25) This place claims to be the inventor of Dal Makhani and Butter Chicken, and honestly, that claim alone convinced us to wait in the restaurant queue—even though the wait time was over 30 minutes. And they weren’t exaggerating—the Dal Makhani was absolutely amazing, exactly as they promised, and it completely lived up to the hype. We ordered Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba (5/5), Mushroom Kurkuri (5/5), Butter Paneer (5/5) and an assortment of breads—roomali roti, laccha paratha, and garlic naan (all 5/5). Everything paired perfectly with the curries. For dessert, we tried the Kesar Pista Kulfi. It was good—not exceptional, but enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the overall dining experience. Despite the rush and the long queue outside, the atmosphere inside was calm, unhurried, and pleasant. The staff handled everything smoothly without rushing around or pressuring guests to finish quickly, which is rare in such busy places. Definitely a must-visit—and I’m already looking forwa

Review: A Culinary Trip Back to 1947 at Daryaganj Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 I recently visited Daryaganj at Pacific Mall, and it was a nostalgic dive into the roots of North Indian cuisine. The ambience is a perfect blend of heritage and modern comfort—sophisticated yet warm, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed family dinner. A huge shoutout to Mr. Dalbir for his exceptional service. His friendly nature and genuine hospitality truly elevated our dining experience; it’s rare to find staff who make you feel so welcomed. The Food: We ordered the Original 1947 Butter Chicken. The flavors were authentic and the chicken was cooked to perfection. However, to make it a true 5/5 masterpiece, I felt the gravy could be a bit thicker, more buttery, and slightly sweeter. If that richness is dialed up, it would be unbeatable. Garlic naan and pudhina paratha is the deadliest combo. That said, the overall quality is top-notch. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon to try their Dal Makhani and explore mor

Had an amazing lunch at Daryaganj! We ordered their special Butter Chicken and Mutton Curry, and we relished every single bite. The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and the mutton curry had that perfect, slow-cooked taste. The roti was soft, moist, and paired perfectly with the gravies. Service was perfect — the staff was way too supportive and friendly. They genuinely told us about Daryaganj’s specials and their recommendations were spot on. The atmosphere and infra are so good, felt premium yet cozy. We enjoyed the full meal and even the refreshments afterward — the saunf and chini with that little finger bowl thing was a classy touch. Overall 10/10 for food, service, and ambience. Will definitely recommend it for u *

It was a really nice experience! We were two people and we shared a Butter Chicken and Dal Makhani, and they were both so delicious. I'd still give them a five star for both the food and the atmosphere, but I think it was mostly one time only thing for me given the pricing and the location of the restaurant inside the mall.
