Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Located in one of New Delhi’s main bar clusters, though the immediate surroundings feel rough. Inside, it’s a classic prohibition-style speakeasy—dim, intimate, and very cohesive. Jazz and blues play at a pleasant volume. No bar seating, mostly couches and tables, plus a separate smoking room. The hidden entrance through a parking lot adds to the experience. A strong storytelling element runs through the space, with owl family portraits and a detailed backstory centered around generations of the Hoots family—framed like inherited cocktail traditions and “ancestral” recipes passed down over time. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: Ancestral Cocktails (Sazerac-style) Menu leans into an old prohibition-style design and is well executed. Selection is solid, with some drinks showing deeper complexity. Hoot has an awesome vibe and great, tasty drinks. It is quieter where music isn't too loud, and you can have a conversation with each other. The decor is lovely and gives you a rustic feel. The both the bartenders were amazing! One of the bartender Tripur explained everything to us, from drinks to the bar's history and story. I highly recommend visiting this bar in Delhi.

Started as a speakeasy but now pretty mainstream, Hoots has been a favourite of many friends in Delhi. We loved the decor of the bar. And the menu is pretty nice too. Prices are fair. The drinks were pretty good. No loud music. No brash crowd. A prefect spot for a quiet drink with friends.
