Absolutely stunning hotel evoking memories of the Raj and the 1930s. This bar is from 1930s but is called the 1911 bar to commerate the visit of King George V to India. We just came for drinks. It is expensive- in effect UK prices. We had a Espresso Martini, a negroni and two 330ml Kingfisher beers - 4500 INR. The Martini was very good. The annoying thing is they add a Delhi tax of 25% on the advertised prices rather than incorporating this in prices on menu. Made the silly mistake of paying in GBR by card - always pay by card in local currency as there is quite a difference.

The 1911 Bar and staff are amazing!! This is a "must experience." The history, elequent decor, taste of traditional gins of India, and delicious smells and tastes will flood your senses!! Very nice atmosphere. Hotel bars don't often come this good. Cocktails are light but well mixed. Make sure you ask what is special as their regular menu is bland.
