Very good Ambience with Powai lake view. Very spacious restaurant. Huge spread of Indian chat, north Indian, Chinese, middle eastern cuisines. While Quality and quantity was both good, the food was almost bland with zero spiciness. Here’s a polished 4‑liner you can use for your review: 1. The food quality is good and enjoyable. 2. I suggest adding a couple of spicy dishes. 3. Label them clearly as “Hot & Spicy.” 4. This will help spice lovers while guiding others to avoid them. The buffet boasted an impressively expansive spread, encompassing Southeast Asian, Indian, and continental cuisines, reflecting commendable variety and ambition. However, the execution fell short of expectation, with the offerings lacking any discernible “wow” factor. A particularly notable drawback was the quality of the chicken across several dishes, which appeared less than fresh and was consistently tough, detracting significantly from the dining experience. Even relatively straightforward preparations, such as the pasta, required multiple iterations before reaching an acceptable standard—an avoidable lapse in a setting of this calibre. Service, too, proved to be disappointingly pedestrian, falling well below the benchmark set by establishments such as JW Marriott Mumbai and Taj Mahal Palace. BEAUTIFUL ESCAPE to clam down, to relax, to enjoy the elegant atmosphere and the food. From the location aspect one of the best places in Mumbai. You can even sit outside on a terrace and enjoy the view over Powai lake. We tried the Sunday Brunch which was really good. The focus of the buffet is Indiean Cuisine but yes you find some pasta dishes, sushi, momos, dim sums and fresh seasonal salads. For all dessert and sweet teeth this is the place for you. This place offers one of the biggest dessert varieties I experienced in Mumbai. Amazing. We were there at 12:30 and this is a great time as it's not crowded and all is fresh cooked. The stuff is friendly and they try to assist you with everything. They even guide you along the buffet and explain the dishes. Prices are on the high side. Location and surrounding view are quite amazing! There was ample seating for a large group (we had made a reservation). The staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was a bit underwhelming. There was a lot of variety bit everything tasted just okay. The lids of the buffet serving vessels were quite heavy to lift and often we didn't know where to put them while serving ourselves. It would be good to get serving vessels with attached lids that stay in open position.
