Anirban★★★Nawab Saheb at The Westin Powai certainly impresses with its grand ambience and elegant interiors, making it a great setting for a special meal. While the food was good, it didn’t quite match the expectations created by the luxurious atmosphere. The lamb galouti kabab was soft as it should be, but the texture was a bit too mushy and lacked the texture. The cocktails were fairly ordinary and didn’t stand out either. Overall, it’s a beautiful restaurant with excellent ambience, but the food and drinks leave room for improvement.
SAMEER SHAIKH★★★★★Nawab Saheb continues to remain the signature restaurant of the Westin, carrying its legacy beautifully through the years. Have been visiting regularly for over 15 years, and it still remains my go-to place for authentic North Indian Mughlai cuisine. The mutton galauti kebabs and biryanis are absolutely top notch and full of rich authentic flavours. The dimly lit ambience is elegant and perfect for special dinners. Staff is extremely courteous and welcoming. Though the prices are on the higher side, the taste and overall experience make it worthwhile. The only small concern was mosquitoes around the tables during the recent visit. Kudos to the staff and management for maintaining such consistency and quality over the years.
Arpit Kedia★★★★★What truly elevated our evening was the impeccable hospitality extended by Alpesh and Yash. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel extremely welcome and added a personal touch to the experience, esp the bouquet. Had an exceptional dining experience at Nawab Saheb. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish packed with authentic flavors. A special mention to Chef Yunus for the outstanding culinary experience—the Dal Makhani was simply phenomenal and one of the best I’ve ever had. The entire meal was memorable from start to finish. Thank you, Alpesh, Yash, and Chef Yunus, for making our visit so special. Looking forward to returning soon!
Harsha Shah★★★★★I went there on 16 April 23. For set menu dinner. They have very good options to choose for set menu like sea food / meat / veg / jain. We have taken 2 set menu 1 sea food and the other one was veg with rose wine. Hospitality was amazing, and the food was too amazing. I could not finish the main course, just tasted and went to the desert, which was too yummy.
Food Search★★★★One of the best dining place in Mumbai that offers authentic Indian food. Ambience was classy and you get a feel of nawabi tradition. Very friendly and respectful. Great Evening. The food was outstanding and the kulfi was to die for. Thank you for a great experience. The chef also gave us sampler for stuffed paneer and dal makhani which is very delicious. Amazing food, excellent service. Certainly visiting again.
Dan Moodley★★★Really well decorated restaurant, feels like a 5 star venue. Great service as well. Dal Makani was tasty while the tandoori chicken and naan was really good, bursting with flavours. The disappointment to me was the Gosht Biryani, the meat itself had a strange taste, I felt like it tasted a bit old. I made the visit to taste the handi style dish and was left a bit dissapointed. Still an overall good dining experience though.
Raymond Li★★★★★I am glad that I visited this restaurant during my short stay in Mumbai. This is especially good for someone who has limited knowledge as to how to order food in India - this is my first meal after arriving the hotel at night. Excellent food (of course there are a few dishes that aren't that great but net-net I'm really satisfied) and good service/environment. Nice!
Gargi Bagul★★★★★‘Eat like a Nawab’. Nawab Saheb - The Westin Powai brings you a royal experience. This place has a comfortable aura and interiors of this casual dining restaurant are appealing. The cuisine is focused on traditional Indian featuring the regions of Awadh, Rajasthan and North West Frontier India. These flavours are influenced by local culture bringing out the authenticity to provide a world class gastronomic experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths especially GALAWAT KE KEBAB and LUCKNAWI GOSHT DUM BIRYANI. Absolutely the best meal we had At Nawab Saheb you can enjoy culturally rich traditional dining experience which stays in your memory.
