Lets start with the positives! The food was deliscious and was served hot. The prices I didnt think were so bad and on a par with other alcohol serving restaraunts in Erbil. The service was friendly and not over indulgent. However.... The kitchen needs to awaken to the fact that a "starter" is served before the "Main" course not at the same time! The doors need to be closed to at least allow some warmth to build up in a freezingly uncomfortable restaraunt tgat means unless you eat your foid at a undigestable pace eitger tge starter or the main will be freezing cold just like the windchill around yoyr ankles. Also...we are in the 21st century..get with the beat and start accepting credit and debit cards. All told the place is OK..apart from freezing place to eat and ridiculous meal organization in the kitchen and payment needs to be cash and or card.

If you are western do not visit this club/bar they will try and scam you by adding extra items to the bill; water, nuts , random other things that you did not recieve. Regardles of advertised nights or items they will try overchage you, we were promised 7000 dinar cocktails this did not happen. As someone who has travelled to many clubs in dozens of countries this one is bs when it comes to scamming tourists. Not only that its just not even that good, a very forgettable place with very poor vibes

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Oak. The outrageous prices The service was bad, with inattentive staff who seemed more interested in upselling than ensuring customers had a good time. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, with chairs that were literally painful to sit on. The music was loud, making conversation impossible. To top it off, the overall vibe was terrible. As someone who's given this bar multiple chances, I'm sad to say that I'll never be back. Unless the management takes serious steps to address these issues, I'd advise others to steer clear.

The place was dead on a Friday. I ordered 1 drink (Singapore Sling) which was on the drink menu which none of the bartenders knew how to make so they called someone to come make it for them. Upon sitting dow they gave me a tiny bottled water, a small plate of nuts and carrots which I assumed as complimentary (I was charged for these) since I hadn’t asked for them. They had a Heineken draft but it wasn’t available. Their whisky cocktails are made with Jack Daniel’s which is laughable. Poor service with sneaky up charges on already pricey drinks and non-existent bartending skills.
