Great little coffee shop at one end of Dalkey. On the other side of the cross roads you can sit at Mugs' pavement seating with your drink and pastry and watch the World go by. You can also share the crumbs with the very friendly local starlings! I had a good cup of tea and a tasty maple pecan danish pastry. Seating inside and upstairs if you like, and friendly young staff. Good job Mugs!

We needed to refuel after our trip out to Dalkey Island (well worth a visit) and we came to Mugs. If you like your toasties extra tasty then this is the cafe for you! We had the No 1 - Cream cheese bacon bagel and the No 7 - Chicken, Pesto, Mozzarella, Scamorza and sun-dried tomato on toasted sourdough bread, heaven wouldn't taste as good. With some Keogh's Crisps, Cokes & an Iced Latte, it was good value for great food. Staff were gorgeous and friendly, tables across the junction are covered if there happens to be the odd drop of rain.
