Store and Yard Sandycove has a really lovely atmosphere and the food was genuinely very good. The staff were also all very friendly and polite, which is why I don’t want this review to come across as blaming any individual person working there. The main issue during my visit was the speed of service, but honestly it felt more like a staffing issue than anything else. When I was there during the lunch rush, there only seemed to be one person on the till and one person working in the kitchen, which is probably why things were moving very slowly. Worst burgers I’ve eaten. Ordered a veggie one and chicken one. I was initially served 2 slices of bread with chicken, no cheese, no salad no tomato. 9.45 euros for bread and chicken ! Even in McDonalds you get salad and tomatoes ! Had to ask them to redo my burger and apparently the cook told me it wasn’t the first time people complained about them. Yet nothing is done to change that. Fries were overcooked. Clearly no effort presentation wise for the burgers and they didn’t look anything like the picture.

The sauna overall is nice they have a lovely scent to them as well as maintaining a warm temperature, however there a a few things that I think could be worked on. I’ve been to this sauna well over ten times and whenever I go the hot tub is closed every time I’m there. Another problem is when you book one of the last slots of the day the water baths are so dirty and sometimes only one is full along with the sauna sometimes they only have two of them in use as opposed to three even if it’s busy. I find it quite annoying if I’m paying for the full service I expect the full service. It’s misleadi

Big fat 5 Stars from me!! We lived in Sandycove and I was always here from the start but moved away for 2 years and we are back in the area for good and what can I say the transformation for the greater good not that is wasn’t good, loved how is changes all the time!! Greeted by a lovely girl working tonight made feel so welcome. Drinks 10/10 Price 100/10 (pints €5, glass of lovely Rioja €7.50) that’s unreal.. Food 10/10 This place is genuinely unreal and to top it all off they have sauna’s… Highly recommend to all. Super dog friendly.
