Every now and then, you have one of those days where you order something without any big expectations, and it turns out to be absolutely gorgeous. I ordered the breakfast ciabatta, and the bread was so soft and nicely chewy. it honestly tasted like it had come fresh from the bakery that morning. I’m not usually a big fan of thick bacon, but it was cooked perfectly and was genuinely lovely. It was just a simple breakfast, but it really put me in a good mood and gave me a great start to the day. Would happily order again.

Having read the owner's response, I feel it is important to provide further context. Until this experience, I held The Spotted Dog in very high regard. In fact, we thought so highly of the restaurant that we privately booked the entire venue for two major family occasions: my son's christening in 2023 and my brother-in-law's wedding day-two celebrations. On both occasions, the restaurant was reserved exclusively for our family and guests.
