I had an excellent experience. We initially came planning to order a steak or some type of meat, but we weren’t sure what to choose. One of the staff members kindly suggested that he prepare something special for us instead—and it turned out to be an outstanding recommendation. He made sandwiches for us that were absolutely delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, literally melting with every bite. Everything was prepared perfectly, and the flavors were exceptional. In addition to the amazing food, the service was outstanding. We chanced upon Martha Deli during our visit to Haifa. Ordered two hot roast beef sandwiches guided by Chef Elias Mattar. Amazing food. What makes it special is the beef is dry aged for 45 days. The flavor is deep, rich, and complex. We decided to go back again the next night and ordered more! Coming from the greater New York City area in the USA I know good sandwiches. I was excited to try delis in Israel but was surprised I didn’t see more in Haifa. Decided to try Martha’s Deli and it proved its the only spot Haifa needs for a good sandwich.
