This was a cute place but I was quite disappointed with the service. They wouldn’t let one of us order the special unless we all ordered it. I thought that was ridiculous given that we ordered a lot of food. They did give us free baklava and Turkish coffee to make up for the disappointment but I probably wouldn’t go back.

I was quiet disappointed from this restaurant, mostly because of the service. I went with my partner and my mom, and wanted to share a lunch special with my partner, which I was refused by the waiter, so we ordered regular items from the menu, then my mom wanted to order the lunch special and was also refused, the waiter insisted that we either all order the lunch special or non of us will. The food itself was ok, the usual hummus, falafel, baba ganush and other traditional middle eastern salads. The malabi desert (rose water pudding) was too jellowy, and pretty bland. The good part is at the end the give you coffee and baklava with the bill. At least one nice gesture.

I can tell who of the staff likes us and who doesn't. Looks like hosting and what I get is based on some differential between more liked and less liked customer. This is my sensation from there after 2 attempts, the last of which we didn't even get to order a main course and just paid and left (as others there did too). We are not coming back !
