A little oasis in the Benevento concrete jungle! Very friendly and welcoming staff that accepted our attempts to converse in Italian. Nice atmosphere both inside and on the outside terrace where we relaxed during our morning. We enjoyed a wide selection of delicious intriguing Italian breakfast pastries. The cappuccini were creamy with an abundance of foamy latte to swirl into the luscious Italian espresso. Afterwards, we celebrated the beginning of the day with a shot of the traditional local liquor, Strega!!! A lovely and inviting place.

I went there on Sunday just to drink something. I don't drink coffee, but they had hazelnut flavored coffee, and their waitress suggested it to me. I was down to try something new, so I'm glad I took her advice! Their coffee is the best! Today I went to another bar (near home) to try the same flavor and I was so disappointed. It wasn't the same! So from now on, I'll only drink hazelnut flavored coffee from Cafè Le Trou. Also, bonus points for the cute location and decoration!
