Exceptional food with a variety of options. The salads are bright and acidic and full of flavor. The fried dishes are hot and light- not oily and very crispy. The salt level and lime take it to the next level. Scirocco Lab also had very friendly and fast service. Just a consistently delicious & enjoyable experience. My only negative is that I am not from Catania and so I cannot eat this at least once a week 💔

This places is not as good as it seems. They have a good menu and great prices; however the Seafood is overcooked. And no one should be at any “top” list if they do that. Additionally, the place is near to fish market, so the smell might be disturbing for some people. It could be a good alternative for cheap street food, considering if you’re ok with overcooked seafood

We ordered fried seafood, fried vegetables (eggplant, red peppers), stuffed sardines. The first 2 dishes were better. Those are their specialties. A tiny portion of Lemon tartare sauce was 1 Euro and not included. The sardine probably requires the sauce and not the fried seafood or vegetables. Worth trying these dishes once when in town.

We came here for lunch today and got a cod sandwich, fish of the day (with bones) and a cuddlefish arancino. The codfish sandwich filling was really nice with some brightness to it, but the bread wasn't very good. The cone was fine, but had similar elsewhere in Sicily. The star was the arancino! Service was friendly and fast!
