We absolutely loved our meal at Il Vezzo!! From the moment we walked in the service was welcoming and kind. We started off with a beef tartare then had an off the menu appetizer with lobster! Both dishes were flavorful and presented elegantly. We then had a ravioli and a squid filled button pasta. The ravioli was fresh and light and the squid button pasta was intensely flavorful in the best way! Each dish we had was presented beautifully and had very unique flavor mixtures. 10/10 experience all the way around! Highly recommend! Il Vezza, it’s just something you like!

Absolutely loved our evening at Il Vezzo. Such a small and cosy restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, incredible food, and a fantastic drinks selection. Every dish was full of flavour and you can really tell how much care goes into everything they serve. A special thank you to Oil and Filippo for making the experience even better, so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout the night. Easily one of our favourite meals in Italy and somewhere we would recommend to anyone visiting Florence!

We walked in for a light meal and came out 2 hours, 3 courses and a cheese board plus dessert wines later. Every dish was a revelation, and with no exaggeration a taste explosion. I haven't had the pleasure of a Michelin star experience, but this was what I would expect one to be. It is a small restaurant with a homely feel. There was only one person front of house, but he was attentive, knowledgeable and willing to offer pairing suggestions even if they weren't from the expensive end of the menu. Perfecto!

Best dinner in Florence! The service was excellent from start to finish, and every dish we tried was delicious. The Florentine steak was perfectly cooked, and the fregola with seafood was outstanding. Even the amuse-bouche was a wonderful surprise. The only minor note is that some dishes were a bit on the salty side (scrambled egg and fregola), but it didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic experience.
