Went for a meal Thursday 7th May myself and husband and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself was lovely and the staff so welcoming. Our waiter who spoke English took the trouble to explain in detail about each dish and excellent wine choices. The food was excellent. I had sea food linguine and my husband had the red scorpion fish pasta both of which I would highly recommend. This was followed by one of many home made desserts which was also excellent. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten track as is just behind the river but v easy to find with google maps. The service was excellent

Magnificent! The food was marvellous. We ordered octopus and fritto misto as appetizers and raviolli as a main and all dishes were just perfect. The bisque sause around raviolli was great with bread they give you. Service was also above any expectations. Great gastronomical experience!

A high class seafood restaurant with steaks and other meats available too. For seafood lovers I would highly recommend here. Your waiter will explain every dish to you and what produces are used to make each dish. Everything is cooked to profection, the textures are wonderful and ingredients simply enhance the favour of the seafood with nothing over powering. Everything was perfect, probably the best seafood meal I have had in years. This restaurant alone gives me the perfect reason to return to Pisa in the future 🥰

I visited this wonferful family-owner restaurant myself alone (the only traveler and the only Asian - Korean customer at the time) after searching restaurants in Pisa that offers decent tastes. And, this place is legit - not only dishes but also wine, atmosphere, the services provided by the staff (son of the owner). Food explanation was also perfect, and I was lucky that the raw signature dishes were especially available on the day I visited. Thank you, La Buca! (Specially, opening the restaurant till midnight for me to enjoy the food continuously enough!
