We ordered just two beers, and honestly, we were blown away. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, but what really surprised us was what came with the drinks. For only two beers, they brought an incredibly generous and delicious selection of snacks and appetizers far beyond anything we expected. We were genuinely surprised (in the best way). This is my favorite Italian restaurant in all of Siena, Italy. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Italy in general. It’s a family owned business and you can taste the level of preparation that goes into each dish. The lasagna is unlike anything I’ve ever had and is incredible.

The food is delicious from the pasta with meat sauces to the salads/ everything is fresh and tastes great! The fresh juices are also very good. The coffee based drinks less so/ poor coffee quality diluted with water and sugar- not ideal. The bad side is service - the server we got, a tall guy, refused to speak English and I was totally unaccommodating when I asked for a small side salad with just cucumbers and tomatoes. The worse side is the fact that an older guy who seemed to be the owner was giving an employee a hard time/ they were moving the pots with the miniature tree around and the o
