We had friends visiting in October and brought them to this historical caffe-restaurant for lunch. Beautiful dining hall, friendly service and a limited, but good-quality lunch menu. Definitely reserve in advance, and worth a visit just for sitting in another time and space for the duration of a meal.

The atmosphere is located in a historical gallery, the place itself also has a quite good historical background. There are many options both for drinking and eating. Their staff is also really kind and helpful. The prices are a bit more expensive than the average. We tried their cappuccino and brioche and tramezzini, all were delicious. For a cappuccino and brioche I paid around 10,5 euros. I would definitely suggest to try it to experience a real Torinese experience and i'm thinking of bringing my friends here who visit the city as well.

Good hot chocolate and great looking place does not compensate extremely poor service, that we received. Some of the staff was balancing between being just unhelpful and being simply rude. They seemed to struggle with many simple things. Getting into the place by the wrong door was a problem (from the outside, the entrance and the exit look like different places). Proposing alternatives for missing products was a problem. Explaining how to pay the bill (instead of leaving some piece of paper on the table and forgetting about us) was a problem. Great place, the interior was exactly as we thought- original. The menu is rich, especially on vermouht. The pastries are fresh, the chocolate delicious and the coffee with cream.... pleasure. We returned to try the desserts, did not disappoint. They have their chocolate which we got for presents. Cannot wait to return... and maybe if we learn some italian, will be better.
