Lava latte is a nice eating place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is really good; the place is filled with contemporary art pieces and also books. It is located in an area just by the basketball court and other exercising areas. Iced Regular Latte was good, and so was the Masai Melt. My friend ordered Quesadilla, which I liked even more than my order. The service is a little slow, it took time for our order to come but I don't mind that. It gives one time to talk and chill. The fries could have been more crisp, other than that everything was good. The place was medium priced in my opinion but that is a subjective matter. They also have a happy hour session 4 pm to 7 pm - in a which they give certain cocktails at 600 KSH. I liked the place and would definitely recommend people to try

The venue has a charming ambiance, and my date and I were captivated by the delightful artwork. However, the service fell short as we had to approach the counter to place our orders. The cocktails were excellent, especially during happy hour, where specific cocktails are discounted rather than the typical buy one get one free. My date thoroughly enjoyed the wings, appreciating their well-executed preparation. On the other hand, I felt the burger presentation could be improved; separating the sauce in a dish might prevent the bun from becoming soggy.

Tasty food..... had their Nairobi breakfast which I found to be a great deal @Ksh 550 ( and comes with an option of either Kenyan tea or their House coffee). Looking forward to trying their lunch and dinner options.

Lava Latte offers an environment that I have personally been looking for. They play non lyrical music on most days and only once have I heard amapiano music which now doubles up as both club and chill lounge music. If you're looking for a relaxed restaurant feel with minimally distracting music, this will definitely measure up. The food is prepared as you wait. You can therefore have a drink as you wait. They offer an array on drinks and are not limited to alcoholic beverages. Everytime I've been there its been only a few tables with people, which for me is a plus. Its not crowded in my opinion, I'll have to check again. The servers are kind and speedy to help you out, which doubles up on the experience. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting area. The lights look real nice. They have books you can read at the premises. You can take the books home at a cost of KES 1000 that is refundable when you return the book. What a nice place. When I think of quaint cafe, this is the type of place that comes to mind. Lava Latte has plenty of inside and outside seating. Great selection of teas, cocoa, cocktails and, of course, coffee. I had a surprisingly tasty chicken quesadilla with a spicy mango sauce and another sweet sauce. Provided a nice combo of savory and sweet. The cocoa was to my liking...made with milk, not water. Rolled in during some sort of music event. Tucked away on State House rd... You might pass by but fortunately there's a big sign. Great service and good vibes.
