Amazing birthday dinner and unforgettable service! We celebrated Shon’s 16th birthday at Tatu Restaurant on January 7th, and it was truly a night to remember. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond by remembering our names, guiding through the menu, and making us feel genuinely welcome. The personal touches made all the difference. Service is excellent. Food is good but a bit too overpriced. I expected to be blown away by the food for that price but it was just decent. Oysters were a let down, could only taste the batter. Had the ribeye with a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus. Ribeye good, mashed potatoes were flat, needed to be more creamy with a dash of salt and pepper. Most likely won’t be back because there are many places with better value for money but it was good to experience.

My husband and I had dinner at Tatu during an evening stay at the Norfolk Fairmont hotel. The food was great and service was good. The cheese bread before the meal was warm with 2 butter options. Goat cheese app was good. My tenderloin was cooked perfectly at medium rare. We had fries to share as a side. Enjoyed the chocolate cake dessert. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice evening while in Nairobi.

The portions are possibly too big (if that's a problem?). Ambience is good, too.
