Excellent Thai food!! I’m from Los Angeles and am currently hosting a 12-day safari tour for a small group of travelers. After landing in Nairobi this morning, I came here for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The menu is extensive, but the dishes I ordered were outstanding: the roasted duck, fried rice with prawns, and tom yum soup with shrimp. Every bite was exceptional—beautifully prepared, flavorful, and authentic. Alex, my server, was as hospitable, knowledgeable, and professional as they come. He was attentive, personable, and a pleasure to converse with. I also learned that the chef is from Thailand and has been living in Nairobi for several years. It shows. The food is genuinely authentic Thai cuisine, and the quality exceeded my expectations. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended. 10/10.

The best thing this restaurant had going for it was its service and ambiance. The food in this restaurant was not acceptable and actually insulting to call it "Thai food". It wasn't even worth photographing. The prawns were overcooked to the point where they shriveled up, the precooked "Thai" rice was clearly heated up in the microwave before brought to the table. The Thai Basil Prawns was lacking any semblance of Thai Basil. And the Crispy Chicken lacked crisp and was dryer than the sole of my shoes. Bottomline, I had better Thai food at the Village Market and the price of Thai Chi was not worth it. Ta skip it.

What a hidden gem! First, don’t believe the Google note that the restaurant is “Temporarily Closed” - it is open for lunch and dinner and they do a great job. The decor is elegant and the details for Thai dinner start with Thai greetings. The food selection is large and the tastes are on par with Thai dishes we’ve had in Thailand. We ordered the spring rolls, papaya salad (spicy hot), a couple of different soups and basil chicken. Excellent flavors! A place to return!! Service was impeccable! From the greetings, clearing of plates, refills of drinks and polite checking on our satisfaction with each plate.

Wonderful ambiance, great service, mediocre food, SUPER super small portion sizes, VERY expensive. It’s an okay place. I don’t think there are many (if any) Thai alternatives in Nairobi. But it is really very expensive for incredibly incredibly small portions. Additionally, for some wacky reason, they charge a 28% tax to all the menu items. Lived in Nairobi for years, never been to a restaurant in my life that does that.

We went to this restaurant for a dinner on our second anniversary and it was a memorable experience. When we go there they had set up the table well with rose petals but we decided to eat sitting down. The service was excellent form our waiter Wilson who was always on hand and took very good care of us. The starters were tasty in good portions and I enjoyed the corn fritters and chicken skewers. The main course of beef and particularly the tilapia was delicious with just the right amount of spice and sweet. These came served with Jasmine rice. The desert and fruits were great too especially the fried ice cream All in all a memorable night
