ChoonSeng Lau★★★★★Look, atmosphere is king. Beer tastes the same everywhere, so why not drink at home? Because home cannot provide the atmosphere, vibes and camaraderie a well-staffed bar can. And Long Bar is one of the best I've come across on a weekend night. The waitresses are accomodating and keen to adapt, they will back off a bit if you just want to chill, or stay and mingle if you're willing to layan. The live band that day had a good repertoire of songs, and also does requests. What made my night was, a few times the bar transformed into karaoke night because there were a few good singers amongst the customers. Including my inebriated friend. They also take orders for small bites, salty fried food like sausages or chicken wings to go with the beer. Good to have options, and beats drinking at home. It was a satisfying night and I'd not hesitate to come again with pals.
