Second time here. We come to the area for Achas Banana Leaf and went to grab a coffee after. This time we were a group of 4. After one friend had already ordered her latte, (mind you i was checking out their display and was going to order for the rest of us) the staff told me there's a policy that every person must order a drink. I've never come across that at a neighbourhood cafe, and only 2 of about 12 tables were occupied. I asked to clarify: if only 3 of us order, can we still sit and have coffee? His response was '3 must at least order i think i can let la.' The thing is, all 4 of us were planning to order anyway. The way it was enforced felt unnecessary, and one friend ended up not ordering at all because of how the conversation went. First visit was genuinely great, so this was disappointing. A bit of flexibility and a friendlier tone would go a long way. I don't blame the person who spoke to us as he may just be a server adhering to the policy. But this was very disappointing

Coffee here is awesome 💋👌 for those who like bright acidity in their coffee. It's sourish which may not be something everyone would appreciate. Ordered both a black coffee and a flat white. Personally prefer a milk-based coffee. Throughly enjoyed the flat white which had a subtle sweetness from the milk compared to the black. The flat white had vibrant acidity, was subtly sweet with a hint of spice. Guatemalan beans roasted in-house to a medium level. Spacious and relaxing ambiance with lots of greeneries. Lovely place.
