Looking up, I noticed the decorations on the third-floor balcony were different from the surrounding buildings. There were no signs downstairs 🤣 The staff unexpectedly helped me with my phone problem. The ambiance and food were both excellent. My Casual Review of Rio Coffee & Brunch (Yangon) So I finally checked out Rio Coffee & Brunch in downtown Yangon — it’s hidden away on the 3rd floor along Sule Pagoda Road. Honestly, it’s kind of hard to find (keep an eye out for a tiny chalkboard sign), but once you’re in, it’s super cute. The inside is really well designed, kind of dark and modern, and there’s a balcony with a direct view of Sule Pagoda — perfect if you’re into rooftop vibes or snapping a few photos. The coffee? Loved it. I tried their matcha latte and a nitro cold brew — both were really good, especially the matcha. You can tell they care about their drinks. I also had a Mexican chicken wrap, which totally hit the spot. The smoothie bowl was solid too, especially if you’re in a healthier mood. Not everything was amazing — the cheesy fries with sweet sauce were kind of a weird combo, and the risotto tasted more like fried rice. But hey, that’s pretty minor. Nice brunch cafe with pagoda view , food fresh but a bit pricy , cafe located at second floor of the building need to find the little sign on the road side. Staff was very friendly and well trained.
