Maybe one of the best restaurants in Kathmandu. Beautiful interior, delicious food, huge portions, and fresh ingredients, perfect service. I’ve visited several times for breakfast, and it has consistently been great every time. The smoothie bowl wasn't icy, which was very pleasant; it was generously topped with fresh fruit and well-balanced. The Old School breakfast is like a full day's worth of food—so filling that I didn't feel hungry until evening. Really delicious. The savory oatmeal is a true 'hiker's breakfast' - hearty, tasty, and perfectly balanced. As for the Cloud Cake, I didn't quite get it. It felt like something between an omelet and a pancake with a strange taste; it was definitely the weakest dish I tried, but still not bad and beautifully presented.

Nice and relaxed spot for breakfast or lunch in Kathmandu. We went to Cafe Fortis and sat upstairs on the comfortable sofas, which made the atmosphere even better. We ordered tea, oatmeal, fresh juice, and eggs — everything was tasty and well-prepared. It’s a great place to just slow down, enjoy a meal, and spend some calm time whether for brunch or lunch.

This place is always quite crowded so you have to be fortunate enough to get a seating. My first experience wasn’t that great, the staff wasn’t very friendly and I didn’t get a seat but the second time, it was a lovely experience. I had their trip mushroom burger which doesn’t have a patty, it was more of a deconstructed sandwich. I also had their passion fruit iced matcha, I quite liked it. Cozy floor seating, the ambiance is what makes this place such a unique one.

It's clear that in a place like this, the atmosphere is more important than the food. I was served soup and the main course at the same time. It's weird. The pasta ended up completely cold. Thai soup was very spicy, but we asked to make it milder and they told us it was possible. The taste was okay, but I wouldn't come back for the "food." Only if I'm hanging out with friends.

This place is amazing! Ate here multiple times during my time in Thamel and it was a wonderful experience every time. Cozy vibes on every floor, good drinks, and good food. In the mornings I would get a matcha or a coffee. Love both - you can’t go wrong! Had their chilly scramble on toast and it was so delicious. Later for lunch i came with some friends - we got a couple of the rice bowl options as well as the pita options. All of it was so good and so filling! I can’t speak for the alcoholic drinks, but I would assume those are quite delicious as well. The service is great, the waiters and waitresses are so kind, helpful and always have a smile on their faces. 10/10 recommend!

The ambiance at 4stories is nice and the space has potential, but I think they could definitely improve on cleanliness — especially the cushions,pillows and sofas. The seating area didn’t feel as clean or well-maintained as it should be, which made the experience a bit less comfortable. I’d also recommend going with a reservation, as it does get quite busy. The food and drink was okay for the price — decent, but not amazing. Overall, it’s a decent spot to hang out, but I hope they pay more attention to cleanliness, especially the seating areas, as that would really elevate the overall experience.

We had the momos, the aglio olio pasta, and chocolate mousse for food, and iced hazelnut latte, iced hazelnut cappuccino, and the iced mocha for drinks. Coffees were good, as well as the food. But the mousse could have been better. The atmosphere was quite nice as you could work there, chill or just relax with the comfortable seating. Bathrooms were also very clean and staff extremely helpful! Would definitely recommend.
