Me and my partner have been to many cafes around patan area but this one stands out the most with really good food and hospitable staffs. We had a smoothie bowl and bread toast along with orange americano and everything was really upto par with the best i have ever had. We will be visiting the cafe again on our next visit back home to Nepal. Highly recommended to everyone wanting to spend a good time with their loved ones.

The ambience and staff were amazing but apart from that, I didn’t like any food. I ordered Chicken sandwich and chicken momo and neither were upto the mark. The bread wasn’t even toasted and there were little to no chicken pieces in the sandwich. I hated the chicken momo, no spices at all. The hot chocolate was terrible! It was just milk with nice toppings. I think this cafe is catered to tourists and not Nepali people. The other drinks I ordered were okay. For the price, I’d expect more.

A server spilled some boiling water on my sister's hand, didn't make any effort to correct it, and left without an apology. My mom later remarked at the lack of an apology, but he still didn't say anything. We ordered a veg sandwich, the breakfast set, and a smoothie bowl. While the smoothie bowl was decent, and other two were pretty bad. The breakfast set was slightly different from what's advertised in the picture in their banner outside the restaurant; we did verify with the sever that the set is what is shown in the banner. The sandwich was completely different from what the server told us would be in the meal; they had mentioned that it would have a vegetarian patty and no potatoes, but the food came without any patty and some fries! Both dishes tasted subpar. The place is aesthetically pleasing, but there doesn't seem to be anything good besides that. Would not recommend.

I recently visited Windowpane Cafe and ordered from their breakfast menu. While the ambiance of the cafe was lovely and the food itself was quite enjoyable, I was disappointed by the service. I had to wait over 40 minutes for my order, which felt excessively long, especially considering it was early in the morning and the cafe wasn’t very crowded. I understand there may have been operational challenges, but the delay did impact the overall experience. That said, the food was flavorful and well-presented, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. With some improvements in service efficiency, this place has the potential to be a go-to breakfast spot.

A perfect spot. The ambience was quite elegant and stylish with extremely peaceful vibes. Perfect for hangouts or some lone time or to get some work done. The menu quite interesting and the prices a bit expensive but worth it. Among the drinks, the cloud coconut matcha was unique with the coconut water complimenting the match flavor where as the iced matcha latte and iced spanish latte could use a bit of work and were slightly lacking in flavors. The cafe loaded fries had a good portion and delicious taste whereas the inki pinky pasta was 1000. And the spicy wings were hot as well. The staff too were quite attentive and the buzzer on each table made the service even more convenient.

✨ A hidden gem! Surprisingly peaceful despite its public location near Pimbahal. The cozy, aesthetic vibe—soft lighting, plants, and warm decor—makes it perfect for relaxing or intimate gatherings. Multiple seating zones offer privacy, whether you’re working solo or celebrating with friends. Food: 4/5 🍗 Spicy Chicken Wings (Level 3): FIRE! Literally. Perfectly fiery kick that lingers—ideal for spice lovers. 🍝 Inky Pinky Pasta: Creamy, rich, and deeply satisfying. Paired with garlic bread (crispy edges, fluffy inside)—a standout! 🍟 Cafe Loaded Fries: Generously topped but needed crispiness. A quick fry tweak would make it legendary. ☕ Chai Latte: Started strong with lush foam and spices… but faded into blandness below the surface. Needs bolder infusion throughout. 🤝 Staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful—adding warmth to the experience. 🚗 PARKING: Grab a parking chit from the cafe if using the ward’s paid lot nearby! 🎉 Perfect For: Dates, small celebrations, or
