I ordered a cappuccino at Himalayan Java Coffee, but it was served almost cold. A cappuccino is expected to be served hot, so this was quite disappointing. When I raised the issue with the staff, I was told that milk is only heated to around 40°C, which is why the coffee was not hot. This explanation did not seem reasonable and felt more like an excuse than an attempt to address the concern. While the taste of the coffee was acceptable, the temperature of the drink and the response from the staff were disappointing. I expected better quality control and customer service from a well-known coffee shop. I hope they improve their beverage standards and handle customer feedback more professionally in the future.

I recently visited Himalayan Java in Pokhara and ordered the non-veg Caesar salad. Unfortunately, the lettuce leaves in the salad appeared not to have been washed properly, which raised serious hygiene concerns. What was even more disappointing was the response when we brought this to the staff’s attention. Instead of addressing the issue with concern or offering a proper solution, it was casually acknowledged that the lettuce had not been washed properly. Food hygiene is a basic expectation, especially from a well-known establishment. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves its food preparation and quality control standards to ensure a safer dining experience for customers.

Terrible coffee. I had to repeat my order five times — a large coffee latte. It came out lukewarm. I asked them to redo it at the correct temperature. They simply reheated the same coffee (not sure how) and sent me back. They should have remade it completely. The coffee tasted like an ashtray
