Whenever you ask Pakistani folks about best Peshawari Chapli Kababs, they will direct you to Afghan Restaurant 'Mama' in the Bazzar, Beverwijk. We thought to try it and compare it with Chapli kabab that we have tried from South Hall London, Antwerpen and Helai Rotterdam. One thing is for sure, the service is slow or rather there is no service, they dont have buzzers to let you know that your food is ready. You pay at one counter and get a number and stand in the line on delivery counter. The duration between ordering and delivery can vary depending on the rush time. For me, it took like 25 m

If you like spicy food, that’s your spot!! 🔥 I tried Mamma at the Beverwijk Bazaar and honestly, it hits if you’re craving something bold and full of flavor. The food is very authentic, rich spices, proper Afghan vibes, and you can really taste that homemade style in it. Portions are good, prices are fair, so you definitely get value for what you pay. The staff are friendly and welcoming, which always makes the experience nicer, especially in a busy place like the bazaar. My only concern was the hygiene, it’s not terrible, but it could definitely be better and a bit more taken care of. Jus

I visited Afghaanse Maama Restaurant and had a good experience overall. There was quite a long queue, but it was worth the wait. The place is clearly popular, and you can tell the food is freshly prepared. The chapli kabab was really special, very flavorful and definitely the highlight of the meal. I would highly recommend trying it! On the other hand, I wouldn’t particularly recommend the kabuli palaw, as it didn’t stand out as much compared to the rest. Overall, a nice spot if you’re visiting the bazaar and craving Afghan food.
