I think most restaurants in a city center of a tourist area are a bit of a crap shoot. We were in Delft on a tour and given some free time. So, we randomly selected a restaurant for a quick meal. This turned out to be a good choice and just what we were looking for at the time. Beers and drinks all around for our group, and the prices were not high. Then on to the mail courses. The place is definitely super comfy. Was very surprised with the chai, it was definitely one of the best one I’ve ever tasted so far❤️ The steak was another level👩‍🍳, tasted like a hotel dining experience with the veggie cooked to perfection, meat was made perfectly as ordered (rare), delicious sauce. This place definitely needs better recognitions and reviews!!!! A place that I would be a regular for sure-! Great place, loved the location! We were there with 5 people and enjoyed the kip sate, drinks, dessert and coffee for a reasonable price and excellent service. We even purchased 6 wine glasses that they boxed up for us (Hopefully they'll survive the trip back to Canada). I can highly recommend Het Konings Huys!

Nice restaurant located at Grote Markt in the middle of Delft. Recommend the cheesecake dessert and dirty chai latte tea. It was quite busy I'd recommend a reservation. The food overall was quite good, the steak was a little too red for me but other than that I was very happy. The staff was friendly and had a good sense of humor too.
