An absolute gem in the city of Delft! The starter prawns have a tomato sauce that you would almost want to marry. The pizzas are fresh and perfectly balanced, while the steak just brings perfection to the night. The deserts are lovely but not game changing, the tiramisu lacks that hit that the original recipe has. No alcohol is both a blessing and a curse I guess. I will bring my mum here in the future.

We didn’t realize how popular this place is and arrived for dinner without a reservation. It was full, with several other people also waiting. The man at the door initially told us the wait would be around 30–45 minutes, but he kindly offered to call us when a table became available. After we agreed to wait, it took less than 15 minutes before he called us, which we really appreciated. He was very helpful. The service overall was very kind. San Marco's decor is modern, not romantic, but it does offer traditional Italian dishes. The food is above average in quality and flavor. And as the service is also quick, friendly, and attentive, you can definitely recommend San Marco. It's best suited for groups of 2-4 people. The prices are commensurate with the quality offered, but like all restaurants, they're a bit higher than abroad. Nice busy and buzzy restaurant with friendly service. Good atmosphere but sadly I have to say I wish the food was better than it was. I agree with an earlier comment that while the food looked good the pizza dough was on the doughy chewy side instead of being firmer and crisper. Also the tomato sauce could be richer and more flavoursome. That said it’s a fun place to eat but just wished the food was a bit more top notch.
