The food made us feel really unwell, and we regretted eating here. I see we’re not the only ones who have had this experience. The restaurant’s concept of telling a story is very creative, the service is good, and the presentation of the dishes is also nice. However, a good restaurant should also prioritize the quality of its ingredients to avoid food-related illness. The wine selection was not impressive. The chairs are very uncomfortable, especially considering the amount of time you’re expected to spend there.

Chefs tabel at The Lemon Tree: I think in Deventer the restaurant closest to moving towards a Michelin star. The dishes were well elaborated and presented while the flavors were outstanding and enriched by the choice of the different wines served with every dish. It was a fantastic experience and would highly recommend it.
