Very nice and historical place to eat! The food was really good and nice atmosphere! They have an option of 3 course menu and was good amount of food for one person or even to share the starter! The only thing was that the service was pretty bad (maybe only this day?), the waitress were ignoring our table, never looking or coming to ask for more drinks or for food and everything else. Therefore, we gave tip because we believe that was maybe a bad day or understaff, but for the food that they serve and the price it could be better!

This charming restaurant with a delicious menu just gets your taste buds working overtime! Since it was a warm summer night, we chose to sit outside in the alleyway. The narrow alleyway added to the intimacy and the menu was also written on the walls for your benefit. We decided to go for the three course menu special and we were not disappointed. I chose a salad with smoked salmon which was light and fresh with a lemony zing. I settled on the lamb for mains and it was out of this world. Lastly I enjoyed a vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce! We ordered a bottle of Rose and it was perfect!

Very nice “brown café” in the city center of Gouda. Food is priced very good with a 3 course menu starting at €28,50 excluding drinks. The interior is very nice with old film and event posters covering all of the walls. Food quality is good, not really creative, but that is not why you should visit this place. This place should be visited because of the nice location and good price/quality.
