Excellent cafe in the Zwanestraat in the heart of Groningen. They have a simple dinner menu with good and affordable dishes. The chicken satay is recommended. The service is very hospitable and friendly. You can also have a drink on the small terrace in front of the cafe and enjoy the liveliness in the street. It is definitely worth a visit.

Nice and affordable food! The duckstoofpotje was slightly too salty but other than that, it tasted great and was extremely tender. We also enjoyed all the sides dishes and found the fries particularly good. The food took quite a long time to arrive, but it was very busy in the restaurant so it was understandable. I highly recommend trying their house made chocolate hazelnut cake - it was super delicious!

Really good food at a typical Dutch restaurant. They have a regular menu and a gluten-free menu and they take measures to prevent gluten cross-contamination in the kitchen. This place is perfect for celiacs like me. On top of that, they are super caring about other food restrictions. Our waiter was extremely nice and tried to find solutions to make my food onion-free, garlic-free and lactose-free. I totally recommend this place to anyone living or passing by Groningen!
