Being one of the most popular BBQ spots in the city, I had to try it. And it did not disappoint. The menu is versatile and especially suitable for someone who does not necessarily want a burger or simple steak. We opted for the "small plates", so I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, but everything I had felt like a fantastic treat for my taste buds. Special shoutout for the Beef Tataki and the Smoky Cauliflower, the variety of meat(less) dishes is well-appreciated. This is my second visit here. As you walk in, you glance first at the broken glassed outside door into a very dark bar like restaurant design (a little too monotone and dark IMO). Great BBQ joint with amazing food. Their meat platter was absolutely delicious. All the meats were cooked to perfection. The meat literally fall off the bone. The chicken and cheddar sausage was to die for. The chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Pork belly was flavoursome. Vegetable dishes were also very tasty. Their dessert was also amazing. Drinks were great and the whiskey tasting was a wonderful experience. This is definitely a must go place if one visits Groningen!
