Wonderful french restaurant in Haarlem, close to the train station. It was our last day in Holland and took train to Haarlem (we were staying near the airport for the night) and saw this restaurant. Had an early dinner so we could get in without a reservation. Had wonderful steak tartare and one of the night specials, both were excellent. Very good value for the quality.

Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant!! My family and I loved it so much that we came twice on our recent visit to Haarlem. We ate outside both times and had a lovely experience watching the city go about its evening. The food and drinks were also both exceptional. Lastly, the service at this restaurant was really stellar. I celebrated a birthday here and they made it so so special. I’m didn’t catch whether the man is the owner or the manager, but he really deserves a special mention. He was so patient and kind with our special requests and questions about the menu. Slow and poor service. A waitress invited us to sit at a dirty table, said she would clean it, and then cleaned two other tables instead… We had to ask for the menu because nobody brought it, and the girl who came took the dirty cups but didn’t wipe the table afterwards. The quality of the sandwiches we ordered was very mediocre, and the bread couldn’t even be cut with the butter knives they provide. A very bad experience.
