Just discovered recently The Governor. What a pleasant surprice! Cozy, posh place. All furnitures were choosen by comfort, loved the velvet texture of the chairs. The darker shades of colours, were matching perfectly. With a hint of gold or sparkling extra. Also few elements of decoration, taking back to old times … we loved it! Waitresses were helpful & kind, taking attention for small details. Tried a few wines: good selection of rare options. Food was delicious - gyoza. But it was only “snacking” time for 3 of us, have to come back for proper dinner. As The Governor completely convinced u

The space was very small, with no skylight, and covered with many umbrellas. Before ordering, I politely asked for the salmon to be well done and dry on the inside. However, the dish I received was undercooked. I asked again for it to be well done, and this is what they served me. You can decide for yourself if this meal is worth 28 euros

Perhaps one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. I went in around 9 pm to order room service on a cold, rainy night when the restaurant was practically empty. All I wanted was two burgers: one with chips and the other with a side salad. Right from the start, the blonde server was rude and ignored me for a solid minute while standing at the bar. No greeting, no acknowledgment. At one point she was laughing and speaking in Dutch with the bartender while glancing over at me- whether she was talking about me or not, it felt unwelcoming. What a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat - we had starters and a main and it didnt disappoint. Although it was really busy we where quickly served our drinks and the lady explained the menu. We had BBQ rib, bread and baked sushi starters all really tasty and well served. The main course was freshly cooked with fresh prawns and fish .really nice atmosphere- the Virgin Martini Mocktail Ace !!!
