Yucatan has good - not great food. The food is certainly not Mexican nor even Tex-Mex, but it is similar. The steaks ordered were perfectly prepared, and the guacamole and margaritas were very good. The rest of what we had was merely ordinary. The service is likewise good but not great. We had to wait a while to order, despite the fact that we were the first people to be seated at opening time (we had a reservation). Sure it was a decent meal but it was far from authentic, according to my Mexican spouse. “I missed the arroz rojo, the beans weren’t mashed, and there was only one enchilada instead of three. And then the chicken: it was cut in pieces rather than pulled.”

Extremely friendly service and tasty food. Good variety of sauces and dips. Comprehensive menus in English and German as well. When we forgot our camera, the staff sprinted after us and returned the camera. Would give 6/5 if possible. Thank you very much.

This isn’t Mexican food. I’m Mexican and I really feel insulted that the owners show this as if you were getting something Mexican. Not even the quesadilla looks like an actual quesadilla even when in the Netherlands you can find flour tortilla and cheese, what they sell you is merely something that someone made up and sells it as something Mexican. This could be more of a Tex mex kinda good and even then, the food is bad. This is how a quesadilla should look like, simple as that not with all the things they put here.
