I've been coming here almost every week for the past 2 years because it's my favourite spot in Nijmegen to sit down and enjoy my free time. While I always like the coffee here, this is the first time that I tasted food in Nijmegen that was so phenomenal I feel the need to write a review. This rosemary pumpkin soup is DIVINE!!!! The chilli oil on top gave it an unexpected kick, combined with the cheeky lime leaves gave it a bit of an oriental profile. We actually came here twice on the same day - because the food, drinks and service was soo good!! The coffee is amazing barista coffee, with oat milk alternatives and syrup like hazelnut and vanilla. The smashed avo with shrimps and mushrooms as well as the flammkuchen & fries were fresh, delicious and big portioned!!! 5/5 recommend, big sunny terasse also and beautiful interior. Decided to eat brunch here expecting high prices like in every other cafe. I got the Mexican sweet potato bowl for 13,5€. I am not exaggerating when I’m saying that half of the “bowl” is spinach 6 halves of cherry tomatoes and a few store bought nachos. The other half is the real disappointing stuff where you get twice as much red onion then meat and the sweet potatoes (which you would expect there are more of from the dish name) are the same amount as the red onion. I never leave reviews, especially bad ones, but this one had to be shared. The apple smoothie is good tho
