Absolutely dreadful experience. The portions were very small, the restaurant itself felt dirty, and the staff were extremely rude throughout the evening. I ordered the ensaladilla rusa, which is normally one of my favourite Spanish dishes. What arrived at the table was a tiny portion of something completely different. It tasted bitter and strongly of vinegar, with no mayonnaise or egg — the key ingredients you would expect in a proper ensaladilla rusa. Had a wonderful experience at La Bottega in Maastricht. The tapas were delicious and perfect for sharing. The menu offered a great variety of dishes. The atmosphere was cozy, creating a great setting for a relaxed evening. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout the night. Definitely a great spot in Maastricht.

We enjoyed the carefully prepared dishes with a nice bottel of wine from our table with a view by the window. (This after having moved from the upstairs section to downstairs - the area upstairs is not one we like but that is personal). When we are in Maastricht, La Bodega is definitely our favorite.
