Well, it’s convenient, spacious, nicely decorated, not overly crowded, and full of plugs — so it’s a great place to study, work, or really concentrate. I’m not specifically searching for high-quality coffee or food, but both were actually quite good too. If you’re in the area and looking for a spot to work, do your Insta edits, or just spend a productive afternoon, this is definitely the place to be.

One of the main advantages of this place is the spacious interior and its excellent location right next to Rotterdam Centraal Station, which makes it very convenient to stop by. Perfect place for working. You can take your laptop, some places have plug either. Music is not disturbing for your focus. I had few cakes and with its quality I haven’t been really satisfied. The dough was a bit curdled, but they have delicious sandwiches. Coffee is tasty, and atmosphere as well, service is always kind and helpful.

✍🏼 As I write this, sitting at Douwe Egberts Cafe ☕️ next to Rotterdam Central Train Station. It’s super convenient if you’re waiting for your train or tram since it’s right next to both. The place is huge! It is half a cozy cafe, half a shared working space like WeWork, which is perfect whether you want to relax or get some work done.
