We only had beer, so I can't comment on the food. We sampled 3 beers at that, so I have just a tourist perspective of Oudaen. This was a Beer Crawl tour from a cruise ship. We were offered Witbier, IPA, and a Triple. The Triple was the better of the three, the Witbier was second and the IPA was a distant third. We were served the Witbier first and it was light and crisp but lacked the citrus flavor that the brew master was attempting to display. It was an easy good beer and very drinkable. Delicious food at a gorgeous location near the canals of Utrecht. Very easy to reach by foot from the train station. The interior and atmosphere is fun and modern with a wink to the old days. There is also a friendly house cat.
