Before visiting Kreta , my knowledge about greek food was limited to gyros , salad and feta cheese. Kreta turned that opinion around. Not only food was freshly prepared and tasted excellent , it was presented very well and the service in restaurant is top notch. Once seated , you are offered a shot at trying authentic greek Ouzo . The dishes are then brought to you the way you order them. The servers take pain to suggest which might be suitable (we are vegetarian). Food was fresh , big portions and very tasty. I have been returning here since that first time.
