This is a place that prioritizes vibes over food. Unfortunately, I didn't come to this place to lounge around and smoke or drink, so I can't say much on that aspect of this place, but it was a bit dead which says enough. I just went in for dinner with some family but we all left disappointed. The wait time just for my food was nearly 1 hour while my family had to wait an additional 15 minutes or so to get their food. The service was a bit lacking as there was nobody there to attend to us and give us updates on our food, and it felt like we were the ones asking for assistance pretty frequently. In terms of the food, it was pretty lacking. I ordered the Peppered Turkey and Honey Yam Fries which were both a disappointment despite the presentation. Maybe because of the wait, the food was a bit cold. The peppered turkey was underseasoned which I would not have expected, requiring me to add extra salt that one of the employees tried to limit me on for some reason??? There was barely any me

THE HOUSE Lagos is located at 4 A.J. Marinho Drive, Victoria Island, Lagos. The atmosphere and ambience was lovely. The food was great and tasted delicious, though it is a little pricey. The food portions are quite small, really small. The pack of Chi Cranberry juice we ordered was opened, transferred into a jar, and tasted completely watered down. To reiterate, it tasted like water. It is a lovely place for fine dining and they also have games available. If you want to use one of their private rooms, you will need to make a reservation in advance, which comes at an additional cost. In a nutshell, it is a nice place. However, if you are a big eater, have a backup meal plan at home before heading there, because you will be craving eba after eating here.

This is the second time I’ve been here in a litter over a year. It takes too long for the food to come out, even simple appetizers. Both times I’ve been here the waiter has returned like 20 minutes later to tell me they didn’t have something; this time it was cabbage for coleslaw. The food was either cool or lukewarm; the wings, the calamari, the ofada, the club sandwich (cold toast is terrible). The best thing was the casa sangria.

I had visited once with friends at night, but it didn’t feel like an actual experience. So, I went back there today with my partner and the manager took us round, it was an amazing experience. If you love cozy, warm and private, the house is definitely the place to be. It was dark inside, so we couldn’t take photos inside. Every room was a total experience and it had this intimate feel. You can literally sleep and cover up with duvet (we saw people doing this, so it’s an actual thing there). It’s indeed “The house”. I particularly love the food, it’s African and western at the same time. We ended up sitting outside. The waiters were very polite and we didn’t leave till late at night. The House is perfect for friends hangout, house party, lovers night out, if you love your privacy and like to be alone. A couple came with their kids (I didn’t think that was wise majorly because people were really smoking outside and I particularly felt the kids were too young to be inhaling all that

Totally worth your money - portion size and taste. Also, if possible get a reservation before visiting. They have several areas available. They gave us free masks at the entrance.
