Timeless Journey★★★★★Nabu Cafe in Al Khuwair offers a delightful Iraqi-inspired dining experience in Muscat, full of comfort, warm hospitality, and authentic flavors. The atmosphere is peaceful and inviting, beautifully blending modern café style with cozy Middle Eastern accents, making long breakfasts and relaxing evening meals truly enjoyable. The dishes are beautifully presented, and what truly stands out is the perfect harmony of fresh flavors. Traditional Iraqi favorites like manakish, dolma, eggs, tea, and hearty breakfast platters have a homemade touch that feels heartfelt rather than mass-produced. The bread is fresh, spices are well-balanced, and portions are satisfying without feeling heavy. The Arabic tea service adds a nostalgic charm that beautifully slows down the meal, letting you savor every moment. The service is warm and attentive, creating a friendly environment where families, couples, and friends often find themselves lingering longer than they initially planned. The cozy seating and
Mariama Berety★★★★★First-timer in Muscat and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to come here! Food was amazing! We got the French toast, scrambled eggs, kahi and kaymer and makhlama and samoon! Everything else as tasty. The owner of the restaurant was an absolute sweetheart. She was so attentive and made us feel like we were dining in her home. She made sure to stop at our table to chat and help us with the menu. Will be back inshaAllah.
F. B.★★★★★I came across this café on Google Maps while looking for a place to have breakfast, and decided to stop by spontaneously. The café is neither too big nor too small it’s the perfect size, which also allows for attentive and efficient service. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with soft background music, making it an ideal place to work or simply enjoy a peaceful meal. The menu offers a great variety of breakfast options as well as lunch dishes. There is also a selection of cakes, pastries, and drinks, so it’s a nice spot whether you’re looking for a full meal or just coffee and cake. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and, most importantly, they speak English, which is a big plus for international visitors. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highlights: + Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere + Wide variety of menu options + Excellent service + Clean environment and high-quality food

Daniel Pinto★★★★★We had a fantastic experience at Nabu Cafe for a brunch for two, and it easily earns a high rating. The absolute highlight were the drinks - we were seriously impressed. If you go, you absolutely have to try the Lemon Orb and the Matcha Nutty; both were expertly crafted. The food was also great and reasonably priced for a brunch setup. To top it all off, the baklava cheesecake is a must-try - pretty nice, unique, and the perfect sweet finish to the meal. Highly recommended!
Magdalena Nowak★★★★★Nabu is an absolute gem. The food is extraordinary—the kind that makes you close your eyes and savor every single bite. That’s exactly what I found myself doing, again and again. The owners are amazingly sweet and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. My first visit was for breakfast after some morning activities, and I ended up ordering half the menu because everything sounded too good to pass up. Every dish was incredible. This time, after a camping trip, we came back for lunch and—once again—ordered half the menu. And once again, everything was phenomenal. Consistently outstanding food, full of flavor and made with so much care. I truly couldn’t recommend Nabu more. Whether for breakfast or lunch, it’s a place you’ll want to return to—probably very soon.

Maimunah Al Shebani★★★★★We visited Nabu for a light dinner and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The service was good, and the food was great, especially the steak salad with pesto dressing… it was delicious! The lentil soup was okay but nothing special. We also tried the orange and karkadeh juice, which were refreshing. Overall, it’s a nice, quiet cafe.
