Celebrated my wife's birthday here in the last week of June 2026. The staff present were Susmita, Kashif, Koyal and Suman who were at their hospitable best. Provided us with a private corner table - gave my toddler some goodies and decorated the table with rose petals. They catered to my request of organizing a cake very well - exceeded my expectations. We opted for two different set menus and a kid meal of butter chicken and rice for my daughter. The food was fantastic. Stand-outs for us were the lobster and the salmon. We had a wonderful, unforgettable evening. Our gratitude to the entire Bukhara team. We will be back soon.

We always like the food service and atmosphere too. This is our favourite place to celebrate the special occasions. Tasty, authentic and freshly cooked Indian food available. They have set Manu on the menu card. And if you want to try their famous Thali you should book it for Lunch. I love their Bhindi do pyaza and kadhai veg. We appreciate the service provided by two young ladies, Suman and Sushmita. Basement parking is available.

Dining at Bukhara Restaurant in the Kempinski Muscat was more than just a meal, it was a truly heartwarming and delicious experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always there when we needed them, making us feel comfortable and well cared for throughout our visit. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch that made the experience even more special. The Thali itself was an absolute delight. It arrived right on time, beautifully presented, and filled with rich aromas that immediately made us excited to dig in. Every dish was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and incredibly delicious. We asked for the not so spicy/ hot version, and the chef made sure we did not miss out on the authentic flavor yet making it less spicy for us. This place held such a high standard of fine dining with such great taste of their dishes but then they changed the menu and the quality went down. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still one of the best restaurants in town to have Indian food but I wish they could go back to what they once were. I recommend the classics (butter chicken, murgh malai, tandoori chicken). I wish they would expand on their mocktails drinks menu. (Also please bring back the mango boba dessert).

We’re regulars at Bukhara and always love the cozy vibe, tasty food, and friendly service. We usually go for the Butter Chicken and Biryani, which never disappoint. This time we tried the Grilled Lobster and Chicken Tikka — the lobster was okay (we’ve had better), but the Chicken Tikka was really good! The service was great as always and overall, it was another nice experience at Bukhara.

Restaurant and the waitress Suman were really nice. Apetizers were really delicious.. the main dish wasn’t my cup of tea.. I ate butter chicken many times but here it was different and i didnt like it.. The main problem was a huge amount of food. We asked if the special menu set is for one or two person.. they told us its for one.. so we ordered two menu… I ate not even half of my food and i am seriously overeaten.. my boyfriend ate almost everything from his menu and also something from my to help me and was the same opinion, we should had have only one menu together.. this was wasting of food and money too and now we are feeling heavy..
